Vienna, Schönbrunn Palace

Friday
This morning we went on an Up Close Tour of Vienna, which meant we used the underground and walked us through the city.  We saw several churches, shops and squares.

After lunch on the boat, complete with a big banana split, we left for the Schönbrunn Palace.  It was the summer royal home which is about 40 minutes across town.  Many Hapsburgs lived during the summer in this palace, even Napoleon stayed for about 3 years.  No photos were allowed inside.
