We were up early on the sun deck to watch the beautiful castles and towns. This was on the way to Krems, but we did not stay in Krems but a minute when we boarded buses to head for Gottweig Abbey. There are currently 50 monks that live a the abbey and work in the area surrounding. There is an imperial wing, which is a secular area. The mountain area is just breathtaking! We sampled wine that is produced from their vineyards. Mainly white wine in this area.
After the Abbey we drove on the autobahn about 45 minutes to catch the boat. We had an early dinner and arrived at Vienna as we finished. We went out to see what we could see in Vienna, taking the underground. We went to the Rathaus area. There we found a biergarten and many good food stands. During the summer there is a film festival and they show movies at 21:30.
